Salted Chocolate Brownies
Who doesn’t love some good ole salted chocolate brownies? This recipe is simple, rich, and a crowd pleaser.
1 stick butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cocoa (Dutch process is best)
1/2 cup flour (gluten free flour can easily be subbed in this recipe)
1 tsp salt
1/3 cup melted chocolate
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Flaky sea salt
Preheat oven to 350. Mix together butter and sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla and stir to combine. Then add in all your dry ingredients (cocoa powder, flour, and salt). Stir in the melted chocolate. Once fully mixed, stir in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into a 9x9 pan lined with parchment paper (use wet hands to smooth the batter into the pan). Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top and bake for 18-22 minutes (I baked mine for 20).
