Flourless Sea Salt Peanut Butter Brownies
This recipe is gluten free but because it is flourless it is super fudgey and rich and great for people that aren’t gluten free as well.
•1 stick butter, softened
•1 cup sugar
•1 tsp vanilla
•2 eggs
•1 cup Dutch process cocoa powder (Dutch process cocoa is smoother and richer, but any cocoa will work too)
•2 Tbsp peanut butter
•sea salt flakes (I like Maldon sea salt flakes)
Preheat oven to 350. Mix together butter and sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla and stir to combine. Mix in cocoa powder.
Transfer mixture to a 9x9 pan (I like to line mine with parchment paper). Make sure the brownie batter is evenly distributed (wet hands can help with this). “Melt” peanut butter in a small bowl and drizzle over the brownie mixture. If you want you can use a toothpick to create a pretty design by dragging the toothpick perpendicular to the direction you drizzled the peanut butter. Add the sea salt flakes to the top. Bake for 22-24 minutes.
I recommend popping these in the freezer for a little bit after they’ve cooled to make it easier to cut them!
Enjoy!!
